Crest Publishing

The publishing industry, especially in the past couple of years, is faced with a large volume of new writers competing for a spot in a market place that has decreasing readership in declining economies.

For this reason Glenn Macaskill and Michael Bowery, both already published authors but with more books in the pipeline, decided to launch a modest publishing house called Crest Publishing CC. Their aim was to proudly publish their own titles and occasionally to publish other deserving authors. In addition Crest offers a service as freelance editors to existing members of the Publishers Association of South Africa.

Michael’s and Glenn’s books have proved successful with good reviews and are available from Exclusive Books and Adams Books in South Africa. Our titles are listed on Kalahari and Amazon. Crest plans to promote its titles with the objective of them being published in Europe and the United States of America.

Favourable reviews include those from the London Evening Telegraph, The Citizen newspaper in Johannesburg, The Sunday Times, The Pretoria News, the Sandton Chronicle, and the Randburg Sun in Johannesburg. Michael and Glenn have both been interviewed on SABC Television ‘Weekend Live’ and on S.A. Radio Today.

Michael and Glenn both have longstanding Police and Intelligence Services backgrounds, and therefore write with credibility and authenticity. Michael Bowery’s novels are a trilogy of different plots featuring Harry Canham of the British SIS, while Glenn Macaskill’s are about more diverse topics.
